Enhancing the Museum Experience
Why I’m the Voiceover Artist You’ll Want on Your Next Project
I Speak Heritage!
I’m not just a voice — I’m a voice that understands the sector. With a PhD in archaeological science, experience of working in a museum for children, and narrating a number of heritage-related projects, I have an appreciation for the stories you’re wanting to tell. Whether your project is rooted in history, art, science or culture, I know how to strike the right tone to connect with visitors of all ages.
Visitor Experience Is Always My Focus
Great audio narration isn’t just about clarity — it’s about connection. I consider how visitors will hear and respond to my voice within the space: whether they’re standing in front of a Tudor tapestry or following an audio trail through a historic town. I adapt my delivery to suit the setting, the audience, and the atmosphere you want to create. The way I deliver the script for a noisy museum installation about the Blitz will be very different to a script guiding visitors around a historic church!
Broadcast-Quality Audio from My Studio to Yours
I work from a fully-equipped professional studio, meaning you’ll receive clean, high-quality audio files ready to be dropped into your project.
Want to listen in while I record so you can direct me? No problem. I offer a range of ways to connect including Source Connect, Cleanfeed or Zoom.
If you need the audio to fit the timings of visuals or animations, I can do this for you.
And if you need pickups or revisions after the recording, I’m fast, responsive, and easy to work with.
A Collaborative, Reliable Partner
I know how many moving parts there are in a heritage project — and I aim to be the part you don’t have to worry about. I’m happy to take direction, offer guidance on scripts if needed, and be flexible when deadlines shift. My role is to make your job easier and your project sound fantastic.
If you want to send me your script and just let me get on with it – that’s fine! Equally if you want a live directed session, that’s fine too. Whatever works best for you.
